How do children participate in service?
Children are an integral part of our service from beginning to end." But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven." What do I wear?
We dress in apparel that is modest and showcases our reverence and respect for God’s holy sanctuary.
- Our female members wear skirts or dresses with hemlines below the knees. Both women and girls (12 and older) cover their heads in service with a scarf or hat of their choice. Pants, culottes, sleeveless tops or dresses and any clothing exposing the midriff or back are not worn during our worship service.
- Our male members wear pants and tops with sleeves. Males refrain from wearing shorts, sleeveless shirts, long hair, braids or earrings. For more detailed information on our dress code please read “The Dress Code.”
